Pool Perf® vs Kit Form Perforated Fencing
Feature / Factor | Pool Perf® | Kit Form Perforated Fencing |
---|---|---|
Assembly | Professionally assembled in a controlled manufacturing environment by trained experts | Requires on-site assembly, often by DIY or untrained installers |
Compliance | Every panel built to exact specifications to meet AS 1926.1 | Risk of incorrect assembly leading to non-compliance |
Frame Construction | Interlocking frame system locks sheet into frame for maximum rigidity and reduced twist | Frame relies on extrusion holding the sheet, which can flex and twist |
Quality Control | Strict factory checks ensure consistent strength, safety, and finish | No guaranteed quality control after leaving supplier |
Finish Protection | Powder coat applied and cured before assembly, minimising damage risk | On-site drilling/handling can chip or scratch coating, causing corrosion |
Tools & Skills Needed | None — panels arrive ready to install | Requires correct tools, hardware, and knowledge to assemble safely |
Strength & Durability | Interlocking frame + professional assembly for maximum strength | Loose fit or poor assembly can weaken panels over time |
Peace of Mind | Delivered ready to install with compliance documentation | Buyer responsible for correct assembly and compliance checks |
