How it usually happens
It almost always starts the same way. Someone buys Pool Perf® for their own place, or for a customer. They put it in, realise how good it looks and how straightforward it was, and think: I should be doing more of this.
So they come to us and become a Distributor. Most love it. Some stay Distributors happily for years because they only do the occasional job - and that is completely fine by us. But a few get properly hooked, and want to install Pool Perf® all day. Those are the ones who earn the Trade Partner title.
Distributor and Trade Partner are not the same thing
This trips people up, so it’s worth being clear. You start as a Distributor. Trade Partner is something you earn afterwards.

What we look for before we upgrade someone
There is no application for Trade Partner, and no fixed number of jobs that unlocks it. What we’re watching for is straightforward:
- Consistent volume - you’re installing Pool Perf® regularly, not occasionally
- Quality of work - installs we’d happily photograph and put on this site
- Compliance - licensed, insured, and building barriers that pass first time
- How you treat customers - because a Trade Partner carries our name in their region
- Genuine enthusiasm for the product - the ones who get upgraded are the ones who talk about it constantly
One more practical point: Trade Partner regions are exclusive, so it also depends on whether your area is currently open. If it isn’t, being an excellent Distributor is still very much worth your while - and situations change.
